About My Clients
I have had extensive experience with multiple populations including people with special needs (i.e. Autism, ADHD ect..), I am Proficient in parent training, family counseling, counseling teens and even adults. I have worked in the corrections, forensics, severe mental health, and substance abuse settings.
My Background and Approach
I started out in the behavior therapy field providing applied behavior analysis therapy to people with special needs and then I branched out into the mental health field where I learned the value of various other approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the mind is extremely powerful. It is difficult to heal from trauma however, with support and guidance, it is possible to heal. I respect the beliefs, values, religion, and culture of everyone. The best way to provide therapy is by providing nonjudgmental support.
