About My Clients
You may be capable on the outside and exhausted underneath. Overthinking, perfectionism, body image concerns or a difficult relationship with food can turn work, sport and everyday decisions into constant tests of whether you are doing enough. I work with adults who want to understand the pressure they carry, recover from burnout and make choices from self-trust rather than fear.
My Background and Approach
My approach is active, compassionate and practical. I draw from CBT, ACT, compassion-focused therapy, ERP, DBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and solution-focused work. We can identify the rules and predictions driving anxiety, practice responding differently and build tools that hold up outside the session. I will offer structure and honest feedback while leaving room for what matters most that day. The goal is not to lower your ambition; it is to help achievement take up less space than your health, relationships and sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My experience as a former athlete and dedicated student taught me how easily discipline can become self-criticism. I believe progress is more sustainable when it is guided by curiosity rather than punishment. Therapy can help you keep what is meaningful about your drive while letting go of the standards that leave no room to be human. Outside of work, running and time with my dogs help me reset. You can book your first session with me through my website.
