About My Clients

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR VIRTUAL AND IN PERSON! Outwardly you are successful, but inwardly you are struggling. You know deep down it is affecting your relationships. You just want to feel better about yourself and where you are at in life, but you don’t know quite how to get there. You struggle to even begin to picture that things could be different.

My Background and Approach

If this sounds like you, we should talk. Most of my clients begin therapy wanting something different, but feeling like it is impossible to get there. I am here to tell you that it is ABSOLUTELY possible to have the life you dream of. To feel freedom from that past baggage you’ve been carrying for so long, to have confidence in areas outside of just work, to have work-life balance, to have thriving, good relationships. How do I know it’s possible? Because I’ve seen it happen. I’m a counselor because really at the end of the day, I love watching miracles. I love seeing people heal from things they never even dreamed they could be free of. I am a trauma-informed counselor who uses various effective and research modalities to help my clients get the results and life they want. You can live the life you want to live, and the hardest part of deciding to look for counselors is already done. The rest of it- you don’t have to do alone.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about supporting young adults in navigating issues like dating, loneliness, and work stress. I use an integrative approach that supports the natural tendency of the brain towards healing, when given the right environment. I am trained in EMDR, a research-backed modality that has been helpful to many people in overcoming devastating circumstances and experiences. This modality tends to help people move along more quickly than traditional talk therapy, as it gets to the root and helps establish new positive resource states in the brain. I am also Level 1 trained in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy which I incorporate with families, couples, and individuals. My three areas of specialty are young adults navigating dating, families of young adults, and pre-commitment/engaged couples. No matter where you come from, what your culture is, whom you love, the color of your skin, the values you hold most dear, or your spirituality/religion, you are welcome and accepted here.
