About My Clients
Madison works with children, teens, young adults, and parents navigating challenges like anxiety, grief, life changes, identity struggles, and childhood wounds. Clients often describe her as relational, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Madison creates a safe and nurturing space where clients can slow down, process emotions, and explore who they are, free from pressure or judgment
My Background and Approach
Madison holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas, where she specialized in child and family counseling and received extensive training in play therapy. She is EMDR-trained and blends a variety of evidence-based approaches in her work, including cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive arts, somatic techniques, mindfulness practices, sandtray therapy, and parent coaching. For clients who desire it, she also offers faith-based counseling. Her clinical experience spans outpatient therapy, group counseling, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient care (IOP). She has worked in private practice and nonprofit settings, supporting clients of all ages as they navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Madison believes that therapy works best when it’s collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in trust. She is committed to helping clients build emotional resilience and grow in self-awareness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Madison is a Christ-follower who believes in the power of compassion, grace, and truth in the counseling process. While her faith shapes her worldview and the care she offers, she honors the beliefs and values of each client and welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. She is especially passionate about supporting high schoolers, young adults, and postpartum women. As a mom herself, she understands how overwhelming motherhood can feel and how vital it is to be met with care, not criticism. Originally from the Midwest, Madison now lives in Texas with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, you’ll often find her journaling, walking through the neighborhood with her daughter, or trying out a new workout class. She loves a good iced dirty chai and recharges best at home, or at the spa, when she gets the chance.
