About My Clients
I work best with individuals and couples who want to improve communication, navigate life transitions, or feel more connected in their relationships. My clients are often motivated and open to exploring patterns that no longer serve them—even when the work feels challenging. Whether you're facing conflict, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a warm, collaborative space to support meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor Candidate (LMFT-SC), and I’ve spent nearly a decade helping individuals and couples build healthier, more connected relationships. My practice is rooted in the belief that we all do better when we feel seen, understood, and supported—and that growth happens in spaces where we can be real, vulnerable, and curious without judgment. Before opening my private practice, I spent years working in agency settings that served individuals facing addiction, trauma, and serious mental health concerns. That time deeply shaped my approach to therapy—it taught me how to meet people exactly where they are, honor their resilience, and hold space for both the pain and the possibility of change. I carry that experience into every session, whether I'm working with a couple on communication or helping someone through a major life transition.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I specialize in relationship therapy and individual counseling, focusing on emotional connection, communication, and navigating the messy parts of being human. Many clients come to me feeling stuck, and can be uncertain on how to move forward. They are often motivated but tired of facing challenges alone. My goal is to help them reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with what truly matters. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. EFT deepens emotional bonds, Gottman offers practical tools for communication, and CBT shifts unhelpful thought patterns. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and focused on meaningful growth, not quick fixes. Clients describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and genuine. I engage actively, bringing care, curiosity, and humor to sessions while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. I offer steady support as you navigate change.
