About My Clients
You may overthink what someone feels, seek reassurance, question a good relationship or brace for rejection before anything has happened. Anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem or a major transition can make it hard to trust yourself even when you understand the pattern. I work with preteens, teens and adults, as well as couples and families, who want calmer relationships, stronger self-worth and more freedom from the stories that keep repeating.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, authentic and conversational. We will explore where a fear or pattern began while building practical ways to respond differently now. I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, interpersonal, mindfulness, psychodynamic, holistic and solution-focused approaches. Sessions might include noticing a reassurance cycle, challenging a painful belief, practicing communication or learning ways to regulate anxiety in the moment. I adapt the pace to you and keep the work collaborative, so insight becomes something you can use in relationships and daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a woman with PCOS, I know women’s health concerns can affect far more than the body. PCOS, endometriosis and PMDD may shape mood, confidence, relationships and the feeling of being understood by others. I believe therapy should offer room for those experiences without minimizing them or reducing you to a diagnosis. More broadly, I value a space where you can be fully yourself, talk honestly about what is difficult and regain a sense of choice in the parts of life that have felt out of your control.
