About My Clients
Talking about your experiences that influenced your decision to seek help from a therapist office is critically important. However learning new skills is the "secret-sauce" that will help you change mal-adaptive emotional, cognitive and behavioral patterns into adaptive new patterns. Changing old mal-adaptive patterns is hard but not impossible. With the right tools, it is possible to begin anew and realize emotional and mental health.
My Background and Approach
I strive to find the right therapeutic approach that will be best suited for the person in my office. I am not a "one size fits all" therapist. Some of the most effective tools I use comes from Buddhist Psychology. The practices from Buddhist Psychology helps one understand the mind, and includes practices such as mindfulness and meditation, among many others. I am also Certified in Energy Psychology, an evidence based practice that utilizes traditional approaches found in Western Psychotherapy with Eastern approaches that utilize the subtle energy systems of the body to promote mental and emotional health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It takes a great deal of courage to face emotional and mental challenges challenges. I believe, you o have the capacity to change. You have the capacity to love and be loved and to feel peace. This to is part of the human condition. I hope that I can assist to be the best version of yourself that you can be.
