About My Clients
My clients are kids, teens, and adults who feel deeply, think a lot, and sometimes feel stuck in the mess of it all. I work especially well with neurodivergent folks, people navigating anxiety, big emotions, life transitions, or burnout. Many come to me wanting to feel more grounded, understood, and connected to themselves. Working with me, you'll experience warmth, humor, honesty, and hope.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me starts with relationship. I bring warmth, humor, curiosity, and deep respect to our work together, creating a space that feels truly yours—a place where you can speak freely, explore hard questions, and be met with care and delight. Clients often describe me as grounding and dynamic, someone who balances gentleness with realness. I’ll ask the tough questions when needed, and I’ll also celebrate your wins—big and small—like they’re my own. My approach integrates IFS, CBT, Somatic, and Narrative Therapy to support your growth in ways that feel authentic and empowering. I’m especially passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals to challenge internalized ableism and build lives rooted in self-trust, regulation, and joy. Across all work, I lead with cultural humility, practicing from an anti-racist, gender-affirming, and HAES-aligned lens.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Cultural humility is central to how I practice. As a white, cisgender, large-bodied woman, I recognize the privilege I carry and the responsibility to continually examine how it shapes my lens. I work from an anti-racist, gender-affirming, and Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, committed to reducing harm, affirming identity, and honoring autonomy. I believe people when they tell me who they are, and I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome. Before becoming a therapist, I studied public health, drawn to understanding what helps communities thrive. But I found my heart in individual stories—in sitting with people during their hardest moments and helping them make sense of their experiences. I’ve supported survivors of crisis, students across school systems, and adults navigating loss and transition. These experiences have grounded me in the belief that resilience and tenderness can coexist—and that everyone deserves to be deeply seen.
