About My Clients
Navigating family life can be incredibly hard. I love partnering with families to help them move from surviving to thriving. My work includes pre-marital, marital, parenting/co-parenting, and family therapy. I partner with couples and families to address common concerns such as communication challenges, conflict resolution, unmet emotional needs, life transitions, parenting and co-parenting, sexual difficulty, and much more.
My Background and Approach
I have specific training in Marriage and Family and Play Therapy. I love combining these two approaches to help families find healthy rhythms that work well for them. My goal in couples and family counseling is to provide a safe place to address hard topics and provide the necessary support and tools to move your relationships forward for a healthy future. I also often work with children individually through play therapy and love to watch freedom and healing unfold in the playroom, particularly with kids who have experienced complex trauma. Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and exploring people’s life stories.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I use my counseling platform to advocate for kids and families. It is my belief that the people closest to us (our biological and chosen families, partners, etc) are often critical influencers to how we view the world. My hope is to help every family build connection and support in order to promote positive mental health. Every family is unique and I love to help each one navigate their story and create the family dynamic that they want.
