About My Clients
I support adults experiencing anxiety and depression, often alongside eating disorders, disordered eating, or body image distress. Clients are typically motivated for change and benefit from a non-judgmental, Intuitive Eating–informed approach focused on sustainable healing and emotional regulation.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in treating adults experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. My work is grounded in a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) and Intuitive Eating–informed framework, and I am passionate about helping clients heal their relationship with food and body while also addressing emotional distress. I take a collaborative, client-centered, and non-judgmental approach, integrating evidence-based and holistic strategies tailored to each individual. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and empowering, and I strive to help clients build self-trust, emotional resilience, and sustainable coping skills. Sessions are offered via telehealth, allowing for accessible and flexible care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in a space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. I approach therapy with the understanding that people are not broken, but often responding to stress, trauma, and societal pressures in understandable ways. My work is rooted in a Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating–informed philosophy, honoring body diversity and rejecting diet culture. I value collaboration, curiosity, and compassion, and believe meaningful change comes from building self-trust rather than relying on shame or control. I strive to meet clients where they are, move at a sustainable pace, and support growth that feels authentic, empowering, and lasting.
