About My Clients
I’m a trauma-informed clinician with lived personal experience, drawing from Existential, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic approaches. I believe healing is collaborative, and with your consent, I can work alongside your broader care team—including medication management, medical, or holistic providers—to support your whole-person well-being. You deserve a space where you can be heard, understood, and accepted as you are. Whatever you may be navigating, please reach out!
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adults and young adults who have experienced trauma, complex trauma, and domestic violence — as well as those navigating substance use and recovery. My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy; I tailor our work to fit your life, your pace, and your goals. I practice from a trauma-informed, person-centered framework, drawing on motivational interviewing, somatic awareness, Empowerment therapy, Liberation Psychology and grounding techniques. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for healing — and I take that responsibility seriously.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I believe in the profound capacity people have to heal — even after experiences that felt unsurvivable. My work is rooted in deep respect for the courage it takes to ask for help, and in the conviction that healing is not only possible, but within reach. I value individuals from all faiths, backgrounds, socioeconomic status, sexual or gender orientation, body sizes or ability. I have participated in protests and marches for support of progressive change. I believe in a woman's right to chose and that black lives matter. I want to hear how our systems have effected you in your healing journey and what I can do to support and improve your situation.
