Trauma and chronic stress impact both mind and body. At your own pace, we can build a foundation of helpful coping strategies that are rooted in an understanding of neurobiology, and begin to cultivate a greater sense of safety in your body. I support clients who have been impacted by different types of traumatic experiences, including intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

I am honored to work with clients who experience ongoing health challenges, chronic illness, or chronic pain. I hope to assist clients as they navigate intersecting mental and physical health issues, and their impact on their lives, sense of self and relationships. I operate from an empowerment and Disability Justice lens, and use mind and body approaches.

My approach is rooted in impactful evidence-based-practices and tailored for each individual. My aim is to work with clients to cultivate self compassion and tap into their own inherent strengths.

I am trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model and Somatic Experiencing techniques, which use the body's inherent wisdom to harness resilience and improve wellbeing. Somatic techniques help clients bring compassion to all their parts, build safety and joy in their bodies, and move towards being their most authentic selves.

I use a trauma-informed and culturally humble lens with all clients - asking "what happened and what brought you here" rather than "what's wrong with you". I also work with clients who have experienced hardship, trauma, and chronic stress from a neurobiological approach, to find safety in their bodies and create a life worth living. I have experience in crisis intervention counseling for people impacted by sexual assault and intimate partner violence.

ACT is an evidence-based therapy approach rooted in mindfulness, acceptance and values-based action. It helps clients change their relationship with distressing thoughts and emotions - accepting rather than struggling - so they can take action in their lives towards their unique goals.
