About My Clients
I support clients seeking deep healing through IFS and Somatic Experiencing, specializing in trauma, attachment wounds, and BPD. I also work with couples to strengthen connection and communication. With extensive experience in addiction recovery, I provide a compassionate, steady space to understand your patterns, heal at your own pace, and build lasting change.
My Background and Approach
My Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and my experience as a Missouri Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (MAADC II) are the foundation upon which my clinical skills were built. My background includes extensive support for individuals and groups in a rehabilitation setting facing a wide range of addiction and mental health challenges. This environment allowed me to develop expertise in working with all types of diagnoses (including trauma, BPD, and anxiety) and is where I solidified my dedication to specialized methods like IFS Therapy and Somatic Processing. I bring this specialized expertise and a non-judgmental stance to all my clinical work. This allows me to provide clear, structured guidance to help you navigate the full complexity of your emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person carries an innate capacity for growth, no matter their past or present struggles. Our challenges often emerge from patterns we learned in environments that couldn’t meet our needs—not from personal failure. And because these patterns were learned, they can be gently unlearned. With support, awareness, and compassion, you can replace old survival strategies with healthier ways of relating to yourself and the world.
