About My Clients
My clients start therapy struggling with mental health symptoms, like anxiety and depression, difficulty in their relationships, losing motivation for daily activities, or having trouble with work or school and unsure of what's holding them back. Some clients have experienced something difficult or traumatic in their past that gets in their way today. Through self-exploration, learning new tools, and processing their experiences, clients feel empowered to move forward with confidence.
My Background and Approach
My goal for you is to better understand yourself, your experiences, your goals, and for you to lead a life that makes you feel most alive. It is equally important to learn what's been getting in your way, so that together we can support you in finding a new way of moving forward with ease and calm. I start by getting to understand each individuals background, strengths, and challenges. We move forward by getting clear about what you want, processing what's difficult, such as trauma or current stressors and barriers, and implementing practical tools that you can utilize in and outside of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Your past or current experiences do not have to continue to hold you back from the future you wish to create. I believe that we all have the capacity to grow and create positive change in our lives at any point in time. We can all learn to better cope with, and overcome our challenges. I believe that we are all growing and changing into a newer, more current version of ourselves, if we are willing to do the work to get there. I also believe that we can have fun in the process of getting there.
