About My Clients

Do you and your partner frequently misunderstand each other? Are you finding yourself caught in arguments only to feel unheard afterward? Navigating difficulties in your relationship can be exhausting, especially if you are struggling with your own self esteem. I’m committed to supporting you on your journey towards self love & acceptance, healing, and to guiding you towards a more fulfilling relationship.

My Background and Approach

With my background in Marriage and Family Therapy and certification as a Relationship Coach, I blend therapeutic insight with practical, relationship-focused tools that aim to give you a clear idea of the topics we cover. I take a very collaborative, nonjudgmental approach to therapy, and my goal is to help you BOTH feel heard and supported as we work together to create a healthier story for your relationship. I focus on building better ways to express emotions and communicate more openly, while also making sure we celebrate the strengths you already have as a couple. I typically like to start with a couple of assessments to pinpoint what’s going well and what might need attention, so we can be really intentional with our work. Another important part of my approach focuses on understanding each of your attachment styles - how you naturally connect, respond to conflict, and seek closeness - because that insight can really shape how we approach the challenges you're facing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healthy relationships come from individuals who are willing and open to dive deep into understanding themselves better and take accountability for their own contributions to unhealthy patterns. Nobody is perfect - including ourselves. If we can take ownership of this imperfection and begin to learn how to communicate in ways that speak to our own experience without attacking the other, we have already taken a huge step. On a lighter note, I believe that a coffee and a good thunderstorm can be just as good for your mental health as therapy can be. I believe in being intentional about life and in our relationships, because in the chaos of life, sometimes our intentions are all that we have.
