About My Clients
Have you ever felt like an imposter in school, work, or your relationships? Do you constantly live with the fear of being "found out"? What about striving for perfection in all aspects of your life? I know exactly what you're feeling: the never-ending cycle of self-criticism and anxiety. Navigating perfectionism-driven anxiety can be terrifying, and I don't want you to have to suffer this anymore. Holistic practices and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches can help reduce this anxiety tremendously.
My Background and Approach
I will create a person-centered, non-judgmental, safe space in which you feel heard, understood, and open to telling your story. Using a Cognitive-Behavioral framework, I will work with you to meet your needs and help you reach your goals while offering support and gently holding you accountable. We will start with what's going on in the moment and how to get control over your body and thoughts. We will also address what is going on in your brain when you feel anxious and how to get in touch with different parts of yourself to find relief. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I will provide you with the motivation, tools, and insight to help you navigate your personal barriers. We will focus on your strengths and values to help you build resilience, foster well-being, increase connection, and create hope in your life. Let's work together in this next chapter of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow at any time in their lives and there isn't a limit to this. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way, meaning that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. As a child, I experienced anxiety-driven perfectionism and imposter syndrome. Through my own therapy, I learned how to handle my anxiety and move past it so that it didn't have control over me. I now have better control over my thoughts and behaviors and I want you to feel the same freedom that I experience everyday.
