About My Clients
I work best with adults navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions. Many of my clients are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or first-gen and want a therapist who understands the nuances of their experience. I offer a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive space where you don’t have to explain every part of yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and move toward healing and self-trust.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with years of experience providing therapy to young adults in college counseling settings. My background includes working with diverse populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, first-gen, and immigrant clients. I specialize in anxiety, identity exploration, life transitions, and relationship concerns. My approach blends evidence-based tools like CBT and mindfulness with a relational, culturally responsive lens. I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace, and on your own terms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Latina therapist, I understand the complexity of holding multiple identities, especially as a child of immigrants or someone navigating spaces that weren’t built with you in mind. I’m passionate about working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals who are carrying generational expectations while trying to carve out space for their own healing and self-discovery. My approach is rooted in cultural humility, curiosity, and the belief that you deserve to take up space just as you are. In our work together, all parts of you are not just accepted, they’re honored.
