My Background and Approach
I am a Psychiatrist with 38 years of experience. I hold a degree in Genetics from UC Davis and a medical degree from Chicago Medical School. My training includes residencies in Physical Medicine at Northwestern and Psychiatry at the University of Colorado. I am board-certified in psychiatry, specializing in treating mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. I offer both medication management and psychotherapy, creating personalized treatment plans. My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, among others.
