About My Clients
I believe that it is important for clients to be true to themselves, to be authentic. I share in my clients feeling of pride when they say that they are experiencing growth. I work with clients of most ages—adults, children, and teens.
My Background and Approach
My approach is Person-Centered, selecting the methods that seem most appropriate for the client at the time. I use an integrative approach. My methods include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, Mindfulness Skills, and Child-Centered Play Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a strong belief that the client needs to feel safe. I believe in the strength of the client. I wished as a child that I had someone who truly heard me and had the good fortune as a child of having a significant good listener in my life. It is my hope to provide that environment for my clients, whatever their ages.
