I’ve worked in various settings, including inpatient psychiatry, oncology, and private practice, always prioritizing personalized, empathetic care. My specialties lie in adolescent mental health and supporting veterans through trauma-focused approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My journey in mental health began during my time as a Navy Nurse Corps officer, where I cared for military members facing mental health challenges. This experience shaped my commitment to providing compassionate care, especially for veterans and those struggling with eating disorders or PTSD. I believe in holistic, patient-centered care and encourage therapy as a vital part of treatment plans. My practice reflects my values of empathy, collaboration, and empowerment. I also strongly support mental health awareness and advocate for accessible care for all.
