About My Clients

I have 14 years of experience providing therapy to an array of clients such as caregivers of people living with Alzheimer's disease, as well as women, people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community. My Background and Approach

I received a Masters of Arts in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2010. My experience and training including working in long-term care settings, adult day programs and community mental health. I also have experience as a Care Consultant for Alzheimer's Association, helping families navigate Alzheimer's and dementia. I am trained in methods of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy and I am IFS (internal family systems) informed.

She instilled in me the importance of education. I knew early on that I wanted to be in a helping profession. Navigating life as a black woman comes with many unique challenges. I chose this profession to support and guide others.
