About My Clients
I believe that discomfort is a natural part of the healing and evolving process, and therefore learning how to make space for that discomfort is essential to restoring balance and harmony within each of us. My ideal client is someone who is committed to making a positive change in their lives, and is willing to actively engage in the process of therapy in order to do so.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is an active and integrative one. I fuse together various western and eastern modalities including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, body awareness, and self-compassion to support my clients in ultimately returning to balance and alignment within themselves. Additionally, I specialize in art therapy, a modality that integrates creativity with traditional talk therapy to support clients in externalizing their internal worlds, and therefore learning to engage with it in a new way.
