My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor (LPC) in the state of Texas, and I am also a AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I work primarily with couples to focus on not only your sex life, but your emotional intimacy and communication. Relationships are like a puzzle with each part impacting the other, and sometimes it can feel messy and hopeless. I also work with individuals who are exploring their sexuality or maybe struggling in personal relationships that they'd like to get help with. We will work collaboratively to explore past generational messages, thought processes, behaviors, emotions, and desire to learn who you truly are and who you want to be. We will explore the type of relationship you want, and you will learn skills to be a better partner and more attuned with the ones you love.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a sex-positive, kink-aware certified sex therapist & relationship counselor. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and enjoy challenging the social norms about not only mental health but what types of relationships we can have in our lives and ways in which we can be our happiest and healthiest selves. My primary training is in mental health for individuals, but I have taken it upon myself to grow my knowledge and skills geared towards couples to provide an open, judgment-free space to work through relationship or sexuality issues clients may be facing. I also have experience and training working with neurodiverse individuals and couples and can assist people increase intimacy and passion, increase desire, increase communication in and outside of the bedroom, explore sexuality, and reduce guilt. I have a strong belief that with exploration, sex and relationships can get better!
