About My Clients
I specialize in working with women, couples, families, parents, and teenagers. You may be strugging with stress, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, parenting, grief, women's issues, or past trauma. You may be experiencing strain or difficulty within your marriage or family. You may be struggling to parent a teenager. As an adult or teenager, you may have ADHD. You may be going through a life transition or experiencing work stress.
My Background and Approach
Life is a journey that can be difficult to navigate at times. The journey can feel like a safe and familiar path; other times, a winding and dizzying trail. It may even feel like a series of obstacle courses designed to test your will and endurance. Circumstances in life can take you out of your "normal" and cause you to feel anxious, uneasy, and scared. Yet it is during times of uncertainty, uneasiness, and fear, that the greatest potential for growth and change tend to occur. My role as a licensed psychotherapist is to partner with you to help you reach your goals, and guide you towards restoration, healing, and growth. My approaches are evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Family Systems, and Coaching Techniques. I can also incorporate faith-based approaches in our work together if faith is an integral part of your value system.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
If you are interested in Christian Counseling, or prefer to incorporate a Christ-centered approach in our work together, I will use a Christian counseling model alongside traditional psychotherapy.
