About My Clients
I can relate to the uneasiness in sharing personal difficulties and vulnerabilities with a counselor, seeking help is an act of courage. I support a therapeutic relationship built on direct and compassionate honesty, come as you are. An emotional or verbal filter is not required or requested.
My Background and Approach
We work together and I help you learn the skills necessary in understanding and navigating a variety of disorders that effect mood, thought, personality, relationships, and behavior. Sessions are goal oriented, achieving your degree of comfortable healing, wellness and life satisfaction is our goal. I have a sense of humor and a friendly disposition, so our sessions can often progress from emotional discomfort to laughter. I provide homework, researched information, and new skills to practice between sessions.
