About My Clients
All of my clients are part of the trans and nonbinary community. I have worked with all different ages to process trauma, anxiety, stress and life crises that can occur. Discovering one's identity is the first step to celebrating our true self. We will work together to learn self-advocacy, and build an authentic self path. As a queer person myself I value building a psychologically safe space for the community. I work with clients age 10 and up through adults of all ages, including couples.
My Background and Approach
I am originally from New Hampshire but have moved all around the country! My education includes receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2015. I received my Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022. The Mental health field has been my passion, previously working in Crisis Therapy, Substance Abuse, and in Rehabilitation Centers, helping those balance somatic and mental health recovery.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Therapist, I am here to help you navigate different life paths, celebrations and barriers. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating holistic wellness into my practice. Some Therapeutic Interventions I use include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. I believe reliance on empowerment and self-discovery are crucial to healing. When I am out of the office, I enjoy hiking in the Tucson mountain ranges and exploring coffee shops. I also enjoy yoga, meditation, ceramics and painting.
