About My Clients

My ideal clients are adolescent boys (ages 13–18) and men in their 20s and 30s who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or adrift. They struggle with anxiety, depression, or chronic stress—and may be navigating career pressure, academic demands, relational friction, or questions of identity and purpose. Deep down, they want more than symptom relief. They want clarity about who they are and where they're going. During our time together, we’ll collaborate on the next steps toward creating a life of purpose.

My Background and Approach

Often, anxiety, depression, or stress can make us feel stuck. Work can move at a stressful pace. School demands can add up. Knowing how to navigate changing relationships or family dynamics can be confusing. I get that! Deep down, you want more than just getting by—you want to feel grounded, confident in your identity, and excited about the purposeful impact you can make. During our time together, we’ll collaborate to take the next steps toward creating a life of purpose and impact. So, what can you expect during our time together? We'll talk through where you feel stuck (ex. work, family, school, a crazy pace of life, etc.). We'll also work on practical skills for managing life’s stressors. We'll work together to identify values you want to live by. Then we can begin to craft a non-anxious life that lines up with your values and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe most people want to live in a way that actually reflects what they care about—and that the gap between who we are and who we want to be is one of the most quietly painful things a person can carry. That conviction shapes how I show up in every session. My Christian faith informs the values I bring to this work—integrity, connection, and a deep belief in people's capacity for growth. I think the best therapy happens when the relationship feels genuine, not transactional, and that's something I'm committed to regardless of where you're coming from. I work with people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life, and I meet each client exactly where they are. Faith integration is always your call, not mine. Outside the office, I stay active hiking, mountain biking, and playing frisbee golf in the Alaskan outdoors. I prioritize family, friends, and faith, and serve on the board of New Hope Counseling Center, a nonprofit expanding mental health access across Alaska.
