About My Clients

You may look like you have it all together, but inside, you’re exhausted. Your mind won’t slow down. You overthink, set high standards, and rarely feel like you’re doing enough. Maybe ADHD makes it hard to stay organized, anxiety keeps you stuck in worry and self-doubt, or your relationships keep falling into familiar patterns. You want to feel more confident, capable, and connected—but aren’t sure how to get there. If any of this sounds familiar, I'm here to help.

My Background and Approach

I take a person-centered, collaborative approach and draw from evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and Gestalt techniques to meet your unique needs. Whether we’re working on ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, or relationship issues, we’ll focus on practical tools that help you create meaningful change outside of sessions. Since 2020, I've helped hundreds of clients (ages 3 to 81) overcome challenges and break down barriers in their lives. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M - San Antonio. Since I graduated, I've worked in various levels of care including outpatient, inpatient, and a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for children and adolescents. Prior to becoming an LPC, I was a Special Education teacher here in San Antonio for five and a half years.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I aim to live up to the motto "Be the person you needed when you were younger". As a child, I was the kid who flew under the radar because I was a high-achiever. However, I struggled mentally and emotionally. So, I am keenly aware of those who look like they have it all together but are silently struggling. Additionally, I have a special interest in marginalized communities and those others seem to overlook. Throughout my life I have supported various causes that have benefitted the LGBTQ+ community, communities of color, as well as men who do not "fit the mold" of the hypermasculine standard that is often perpetuated in our society. Finally, I am passionate about men's mental health. I hope to be a part of breaking the stigma of men seeking mental healthcare and engaging in vulnerable conversations. Dr. Seuss said, "A person's a person, no matter how small" and I like to take it a step further and say, "A person's a person, no matter what."
