About My Clients
Over the years I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults to assist with issues of anxiety, stress, depression, acculturation, and trauma by using CBT, DBT, Client-Centered Therapy, and other modalities. My focus is to assist my clients in discovering their strengths and building upon them in order to reach their goals. I value the authentic connection I make with each of by clients which promotes a safe and positive environment for my clients.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. Most frequently used has been Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy, as these modalities help the client and I to develop a strong and professional relationship that allows us to work together towards the goals at hand. Whether it is about decreasing symptoms, increasing self-esteem, changing a behavior, or anything else you may want to work on, we will collaborate together in defining the goals that you wish to work towards and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Over time, we will revisit your goals as needed and track your progress to reach your goals. Your treatment is about YOU and together we will find an approach that is beneficial to help you grow and take a step towards your goals.

I believe that everyone can use a helping hand from time to time and I would be more than happy to provide you the support you seek to reach your goals. From my early clinical career volunteering in a state hospital to working with refugee minors, we all have the strength inside of us to persevere. With over a decade in the mental health field, I am a dedicated professional committed to improving mental wellness.
