About My Clients
Are you feeling anxious about situations you can't control? Are your normal ways of coping not working for you anymore? When your anxiety starts affecting your work, relationship or even your sense of self, it can be even more difficult to cope. I get how painful this is and I can help. My Background and Approach
I use a two pronged approach when working with anxiety. First, I teach mindfulness tools to help you regulate your nervous system which gives you some immediate relief. Next, I will help you understand the underlying emotions that drive your anxiety. When you understand what is driving your anxiety you can start to make choices that best support your life. Congruence in your life creates resolution which will help you release tension in your body allowing you to become calmer and more relaxed. I believe therapy should be interactive and engaging. I will use role-plays, grounding meditations and body oriented questions to help you explore and understand your inner landscape. I value and welcome client feedback so that I can make a tailored therapeutic experience that fits right just for you. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I saw the change therapy had on my own life and I wanted to perpetuate that change in the world by helping people cultivate compassion for themselves. When people have more empathy and understanding for themselves they treat others with more compassion which makes for a better world for everyone.
