About My Clients
– You’ve done therapy before and understand yourself, but still feel stuck You notice strong internal conflicts or “parts” pulling you in different directions – You’re navigating complex relationship systems (including non-monogamy) or major life transitions – You want a somatic, depth-oriented approach rather than insight only. I work with highly introspective adults and couples who feel stuck despite insight — especially around life transitions, complex relational systems, and non-monogamy
My Background and Approach
You may be a good fit for my work if: – You’ve done therapy before and understand yourself, but still feel stuck – You notice strong internal conflicts or “parts” pulling you in different directions – You’re navigating complex relationship systems (including non-monogamy) or major life transitions Somatic Internal Family Systems therapy benefits adults (& couples) navigating major transitions, complex relational systems, and identity shifts. I'm originally trained as a mediator and conflict resolution facilitator with 2 decades of trauma informed embodiment facilitation before becoming a therapist. I have a non-pathologizing approach that can feel more like coaching than therapy, which my clients find empowering. I have lived experience in Eating Disorder Recovery, Sexual Assault & Recovery, Ethical Non-monogamy and psychedelic therapy and integration. I'm licensed in Australia so my clients I'm an out of network provider for most insurance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a systems led approach, that creative therapy supports our healing, and that "therapy" should not be centered sole on the individual but that we are part of a web of relationships and need to acknowledge the interconnectedness of our suffering. Activism and dance/movement therapy as well as indigenous shamanic healing approaches are a central foundation of how I came to work as a therapist
