About My Clients
I specialize in working with those experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, and cultural identity challenges. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in humanistic and person-centered values. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help clients build insight, emotional regulation, and self-compassion. As someone who understands the complexities of balancing multiple cultural identities
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a supportive and affirming space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking growth, I’m here to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a first-generation Mexican American MHC-LP grounded in a liberation-oriented, culturally affirming, and emotion-focused approach. My identity as the daughter of immigrants, navigating bicultural spaces, has deeply shaped how I show up in the world and in the therapy room. I am committed to standing in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and I view therapy as a space for collective healing, resistance, and reclamation. As someone who has witnessed and experienced the impacts of systemic oppression, I am passionate about uplifting the voices of those most marginalized, and creating spaces where Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and neurodivergent folks are seen, affirmed, and empowered. I am honored to be part of a community that centers radical love, justice, and collective liberation — and I believe our healing is deeply interconnected.
