About My Clients
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering in-person individual therapy in Costa Mesa and virtual services throughout California. I work with adolescents and adults ages 12 and older, with a focus on anxiety and anxiety related to trauma. I specialize in helping clients manage chronic worry, panic, hypervigilance, and emotional overwhelm, particularly when shaped by past experiences. My approach is personalized, trauma-informed, and collaborative, creating a safe space.
My Background and Approach
One of the key challenges many of my clients face is the experience of spiraling thoughts. When worries snowball, leaving them feeling overwhelmed and stuck. I work with clients to recognize the patterns of their thinking and develop tools to break the cycle of anxiety and rumination. Together, we explore strategies to regain control, cultivate mindfulness, and find calm amidst the chaos of racing thoughts. Through our work together, you'll learn to approach your thoughts with curiosity and compassion, allowing you to break free from the cycle of spiraling and regain a sense of peace. We may also uncover the root causes of our worries, which may stem from relational trauma. My approach is centered on authenticity, offering direct, constructive feedback while always meeting clients where they are. I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your unique struggles and develop strategies that work for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in meeting people where they’re at. This space is for you to share what matters to you. Your values, the communities you stand with, the communities that may have caused trauma. I show up, listen, and create space for people to be fully themselves. I also make it a point to remind others that I'm human, I make mistakes, and I take responsibility while continually learning and growing.
