About My Clients
Experiencing trauma, stress, anxiety, life transitions, or depression can feel overwhelming and isolating. Taking this first step toward seeking support is an act of courage, and I deeply honor the strength it takes to begin this journey. Healing is not about having all the answers, it’s about showing up for yourself, one step at a time. Together, we can explore your story, gently work through emotions, and create a path toward greater peace and fulfillment.
My Background and Approach
Through the integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness practices, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space that fosters growth and healing. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard and empowered. Therapy is a space to heal, challenge limiting beliefs, and build a future aligned with your values. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they uncover their strengths, deepen self-awareness, and take steps toward meaningful growth and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a counselor because I know what it feels like to live between two worlds. I was born in Mexico and raised in Washington State, growing up as an immigrant and the child of immigrant parents. Navigating two cultures meant learning a new language, adjusting to a different way of life, and facing the culture shock that comes with balancing who you are with where you are. I experienced firsthand the weight of generational trauma, the complexity of breaking cycles while honoring where I come from, and the deep gratitude I hold for the sacrifices my family made to build a life here. Through my own journey of healing, self-discovery, and empowerment, I found a deep calling to help others who are navigating similar challenges. Whether it’s managing cultural expectations, addressing identity struggles, or processing intergenerational wounds, I understand how layered and personal these experiences can be.
