About My Clients
I'm passionate about working with queer and neurodivergent folks. In order to embody ourselves more holistically, we need to be given space to explore, question, challenge, feel and express emotions, and maybe swear a little (or a lot). Together, we’ll learn to celebrate and (re) integrate all pieces of self.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a holistic and active interpersonal approach to therapy. I am a trauma-informed clinician and enjoy engaging in cognitive-behavioral questioning and thinking and focus on your personhood. I'm also experienced in letter writing for gender affirming care. If you made it to this point, you've already made a courageous step in returning to and caring for yourself. I find it an immense honor and privilege to experience and explore life with each and every one of my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I believe that healing begins with authenticity and the freedom to be fully seen. My lived experience informs my understanding that identities and ways of being which fall outside of dominant cultural norms are often pathologized, silenced, or erased. I view therapy as a space to resist those forces—a space where difference is not only accepted but celebrated. I believe that each person carries inherent wisdom about their own life and deserves a therapeutic relationship grounded in respect, curiosity, and collaboration. I don't believe that there's a single “right” way to think, feel, or relate, and I honor the many forms of communication, processing, and self-expression that people bring into the room. I also believe that healing is both personal and collective. My role is to walk alongside clients as they make meaning, reclaim agency, and cultivate lives rooted in dignity, safety, and connection.
