My counseling style is collaborative and direct, with a soft approach. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the difficult things right now and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You have taken the first and most important step by seeking help.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the right to self-determination, respect, and positive boundaries. Therapy is a process that leads to further self-discovery, and the journey can take you anywhere most of the time, the destination is unexpected. I come from a culture that does not believe in mental health, and there is a lot of stigma around it. I can connect with different cultural beliefs and work to spread awareness about mental health's impact on our well-being.
