About My Clients
Do you keep finding yourself stuck in the same arguments, feeling unseen, or wondering if your relationship can be repaired? Maybe you’re carrying pain from the past that shows up as anger, disconnection, or numbing out. You don’t have to keep going through it alone. I help individuals and couples heal old wounds, communicate better, and rebuild connection—with others and with themselves.
My Background and Approach
With over 15 years of experience as a therapist, I’ve supported individuals and couples through anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship struggles using practical, evidence-based tools. I’m trained in EMDR, trauma-informed care, and hold advanced certification as a Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor (SUDCC IV). My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and in control—not just during therapy, but in your everyday life. Whether it’s teaching skills to manage emotional overwhelm, helping you understand the root of long-standing patterns, or supporting deeper healing from painful memories, I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you through the process. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and focused on giving you tools you can actually use when life gets hard.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in safe, supportive relationships—and I’m committed to creating that space for every client I work with. I’m passionate about social justice, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and trauma-informed approaches that honor people’s lived experiences. I’ve spent much of my career working in addiction recovery and community mental health, and I believe deeply in harm reduction, meeting people where they are, and the power of small steps. I’m a mom, a lifelong learner, and someone who believes that humor, creativity, and being real are just as important in therapy as insight and tools. I also volunteer with animal rescues and believe that healing often involves reconnecting with the world around us—whether that’s through advocacy, art, or a dog curled up at your feet.
