About My Clients

My ideal clients are adolescents and adults who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity concerns, or the pressure of high expectations. Whether you're an athlete, professional, student, or simply someone feeling stuck, I provide a supportive space to help you build confidence, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward with purpose.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Doctor of Education in Sport and Performance Psychology, a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am a Certified Athletic Trainer. My counseling approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating person centered principles and Bandura's Self Efficacy Theory to help clients build confidence, increase self awareness, and create meaningful change. Throughout my career, I have supported adolescents, collegiate and professional athletes, and adults navigating mental health concerns, life transitions, grief, identity, and the pressures of high performance. My goal is to provide a collaborative space where you feel heard, challenged, and empowered while developing practical tools that support growth personally, professionally, and in everyday life. I believe healing and growth happen when we care for the whole person, not just the problem that brought them to therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My faith, culture, and life experiences have shaped the way I show up for others. As a Black woman and Christian, I believe every person has inherent value, deserves to be treated with dignity, and has the capacity for growth and healing. I value compassion, authenticity, and service, and I believe we are all called to support one another through life's challenges. My role as a therapist is not to tell you what to believe, but to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities, and belief systems, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they work toward healing and becoming the healthiest version of themselves.
