About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, postpartum transitions, health-related stress, and the emotional pressures that come with different stages of life. Many of the people I support are high-functioning, deeply caring individuals who appear “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed or emotionally depleted on the inside. In our work together, I gently help untangle the thoughts, expectations, and patterns that no longer serve you.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood while also learning tools you can truly use in your everyday life. I work collaboratively with clients to understand what’s happening in the moment and find practical ways to manage anxiety, calm overwhelming thoughts, and feel more in control. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation — warm, honest, and judgment-free. Together, we’ll explore how anxiety shows up in both your mind and body and practice simple, effective strategies to help you feel grounded and confident. My hope is that you leave sessions not only feeling heard, but also equipped with skills that continue to support you outside of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel safe, human, and collaborative. Healing happens when people feel genuinely seen and understood, not judged or rushed. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” someone but rather it’s about creating space to better understand yourself, your experiences, and the patterns that shape your life. I believe that every person already has strengths within them, and therapy helps bring those strengths forward while learning new tools to navigate challenges. Insight is important, but real change also comes from practicing practical skills that make everyday life feel more manageable. I see therapy as a partnership. My role is to guide, support, and gently challenge when needed, while respecting each client’s pace, culture, family dynamics, and individual story. Especially when working with children and families, I believe growth happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion.
