My Background and Approach

Dr. Lovette Okoh is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who has been providing care since 2019. She specializes in medication management for individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults. With a strong foundation in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, telehealth, and community mental health, Dr. Okoh delivers evidence-based, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care. Her approach focuses on building trust, fostering resilience, and tailoring treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs. She is passionate about supporting those facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders. Clients appreciate her compassionate, thorough, and collaborative style. She is passionate about serving underserved populations and actively promotes mental health awareness within minority communities. Dr. Okoh values compassion, integrity, and human dignity, and strives to make every client feel seen, heard, and respected. Outside of her practice, she volunteers her time with community youth mentorship programs and supports causes that advance access to education, mental health care, and wellness for all.
