About My Clients
I work with Children, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and communication difficulties. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in repeating patterns. Together, we will identify what is holding you back, strengthen your coping skills, and help you move toward healthier relationships, greater confidence, and improved emotional well-being.
My Background and Approach
am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through emotional, relational, and life challenges. I am also a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to your needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based practices, and trauma-informed care. In our work together, we will explore the patterns affecting your life, develop practical coping and communication skills, and build on the strengths you already possess. I believe the therapeutic relationship should feel safe, respectful, and honest. My goal is to help you feel understood while also supporting you in making meaningful changes that improve your daily life and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people have the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change when they feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. Therapy should be a collaborative space where you can show up as your full self without fear of judgment. I value cultural humility, compassion, authenticity, inclusion, and respect for each person's unique identity and lived experience. I recognize that family, culture, faith, relationships, and life circumstances can shape how we understand ourselves and the challenges we face. I am committed to providing affirming care and remaining mindful of how power, privilege, access, and systemic barriers may affect emotional wellness. I also believe progress does not have to be perfect. Small, intentional steps can create lasting change, and I consider it an honor to support clients as they build insight, resilience, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.
