About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples navigating identity, late diagnosis, religious trauma, family estrangement, grief, and the particular exhaustion of being misread by the people and systems around you. Many of my clients are autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD adults. Queerness, gender expansiveness, non-monogamy, and kink are not clinical problems; therapy should affirm who you are, not explain it away.
My Background and Approach
My clinical approach draws from Buddhist psychology, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and family systems theory, because skills alone are not enough. You need new experiences alongside new concepts. We start bottom-up, with sensation, nervous system state, and felt experience, then move toward meaning. Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD are different ways of processing a world built for someone else, not disorders to be corrected. I practice directness as care. I don't talk around things. You're paying for what I see, and I'll tell you right away. Expect to be uncomfortable early, in exchange for getting somewhere faster. I came to this work through my own experience of being queer, neurodivergent, and raised in systems that weren't built with people like me in mind. I'm a Buddhist Chaplain in the Plum Village tradition and an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor. I don't offer consultations; my website should give you enough to know if we're a fit.
