If you are always feeling anxious and panicking, or you feel so down that you struggle with motivation to get things accomplished I can help. Maybe your anxiety takes the form of skin picking or hair pulling and you want to stop but don’t know how. Maybe you were doing fine and then grief turned your world upside down and you don’t know what to do. Grief doesn’t only come from death it can come from the end of a relationship, loss of a job, a change in ability.
My Background and Approach
Coping skills are the foundation of good therapy. The specific techniques that I will teach you will depend on your specific difficulties but some examples are senses grounding, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, diaphragmatic breathing. Everyone is unique and you are the expert on your life; so we’ll work together to develop a treatment plan tailored to you. I mainly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT). However, for clients who need treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) we will either utilize Prolonged Exposure Therapy or Cognitive Processing Therapy both evidence based treatment.

I’m Louise and I am so happy you’re here! I believe therapy should be affordable thus I am an Open Path Collective Therapist (I offer a few spots for Open Path clients that are $100 for intake and $60-$70 per session. To become an open path client go to: https://openpathcollective.org/. (Please note: I only take 4-5 Open Path Clients at a time. My normal full fee rate is $150 per intake and $130 per session.). I also believe we need more clinicians who are comptent in helping people with disabilities.
