About My Clients

My clients are often insightful, capable, and outwardly put-together—but inwardly they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Many are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, or the lingering impact of past experiences. They’re ready to understand themselves more deeply and want therapy that’s both supportive and grounded in real tools for change.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist with dual licensure in Florida and Colorado, currently offering virtual therapy to adults and couples throughout Florida. My background includes a B.A. from Northwestern University and two graduate degrees—one in Mental Health Counseling and another in Marriage and Family Therapy. My approach is grounded in neuroscience and nervous system regulation, helping clients rewire unhelpful patterns and develop more adaptive, intentional ways of living. I bring warmth, presence, and—when appropriate—humor to the therapy space, creating a supportive environment for meaningful inner work. I'm trained in DBT, DBT Prolonged Exposure, CBT, the Gottman Method for couples, mindfulness, and yoga-based practices. I work holistically, helping clients understand both their internal experience and how it shows up in relationships, with a focus on emotional balance, deeper self-understanding, and lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy should be a collaborative, respectful process rooted in trust, safety, and compassion. I value each client’s uniqueness and autonomy, and I approach our work together with curiosity, warmth, and clinical clarity. I believe that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to explore beneath the surface—and I work to create a space where clients feel supported, not judged. I value privacy and confidentiality deeply. In a world where we’re often asked to share more than we’re ready for, I honor the importance of having a space that is truly yours. Your story is handled with care, professionalism, and the highest ethical standards. I also believe in the mind-body connection and the importance of integrating neuroscience, emotional insight, and practical skills. Therapy with me is about gaining both understanding and movement—toward healing, resilience, and a more authentic life.
