About My Clients

Sometimes, we get to a point in our lives where we feel cornered, overwhelmed, nervous, and/or sad. I know what that can feel like, and it can feel very lonely. I am here to walk with you through these emotions and challenges. Together, we can learn about your thoughts, your emotions, and explore your past experiences to help you move forward in your life!
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 5 years of experience helping individuals, children, and families transform their lives. I earned my Bachelor's degree at University of California, Santa Barbara, with a minor in Applied Psychology. And then went on to receive my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. I have a passion for helping individuals heal from traumatic pain as well as nurture healing in children/families. I like to create a safe space for individuals by maintaining a genuine, non-judgmental presence; thus, enabling them to converse freely and explore their lives. I like to use strengths-based approaches, as we can lose sight of our strengths in the midst of our miseries. A collaborate approach is very important to me. After all, you are the expert in your own life. I am here, right behind you and even sometimes right next to you, helping guide you towards your strengths and ultimate potential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change is imminent, and our suffering is only temporary. However, it is important to reach a point of acknolwedgement, understanding, and acceptance in order to create lasting changes. I KNOW in my heart, that every human being has a purpose. Sometimes, we just get a little lost. We can have crippling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and behaviors we are not proud of----but these are not permanent fixtures. We have to actively work to make it different for us. I believe every human being has the capability within themselves to make lasting changes and actually find contentment in life. I am open to all individuals , LGBTQ+, as well as diverse populations.
