About My Clients
I approach therapy from a holistic and client-centered perspective: focusing on empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, stress management, women’s issues, grief, and self-esteem. I utilize interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness techniques to support clients in developing the skills they need to reach their full potential.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and obtained my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Long Beach in 2012. I have 9 years of clinical experience working in community and government outpatient settings. I am a bilingual Latina and have extensive experience working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
