About My Clients
My clients are individuals, couples and families. I work with a lot of folks who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, and depression. I have experience LGBTQ concerns and identify as an ally. I welcome all clients who are invested in improving their lives through therapy.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in a variety of settings including community agencies, private practice, and EAPs. The approach I use depends on what makes the most sense for each client. Generally, you can expect a blend of cognitive and behavioral interventions drawn from training in CBT, DBT, family systems and EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person is unique and has a fascinating story to tell. The capacity for change exists within each individual and is ultimately that person's "super power". My job is to help you break down the barriers so that change can occur. I am passionate about animal rights and rescue. My private life focuses on my adult children and my 4 dogs.
