My Background and Approach
I am a skilled licensed (LMHC) psychotherapist with experience in helping individuals achieve their wellness goals. I believe that therapy works best when there is a collaboration between therapist and client. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, accepting, and safe, where you can explore important issues, process your concerns, and gain insight into your values and behaviors. At my practice, you'll find a safe, judgment-free space for healing and growth. As an inclusive therapist with lived experience as a military child (USAF) and family estrangement, I understand the complexities of navigating toxic family interactions, identity struggles, and emotional challenges. I specialize in working with adults who have faced family dysfunction, BPD, or LGBTQ+ invalidation, as well as those who have been labeled as the black sheep or scapegoat. With specialized training in Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBI)/gut disorders, I also support individuals struggling
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I bring lived experience with chronic health issues, ADHD, LGBQ identity, HAE, and family estrangement, along with extensive experience working with TGNC individuals. This, combined with my education, years of work experience and professional training, allows me to provide empathetic, informed, and affirming care. I believe therapy thrives when built on a strong partnership between therapist and client.
