My Background and Approach
I believe that the fit between client and therapist is important in making changes. I enjoy coming alongside people who have decided it's time to live life to the fullest and overcome issues holding them back. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I hold a Master's of Arts in Counseling from Western Seminary. Western's curriculum incorporates licensing requirements along with Bible and Theological studies. I am licensed in Oregon and Washington state. We can incorporate spiritual elements when desired by the client, however, I work with people of many spiritual beliefs. Combining compassion, empathy and evidenced-based practices such as CBT, mindfulness and the latest in neuroscience will get results you desire.
