About My Clients

Maybe you’re trying all that you know how to do and you’re still feeling stuck, anxious, angry, confused, or discouraged. You’re finding it difficult to navigate significant changes in your life, your relationships aren’t what you would like, or your self-confidence has taken a beating. Regardless of what brings you to this page, I’m glad you’re considering me as a partner in your growth and healing.

My Background and Approach

My approach to counseling reflects a belief in your inherent dignity and worth. It is collaborative, holistic, strength-based, personalized to your needs, and rooted in the belief that you possess a tremendous capacity for growth, healing, and re-creation over the course of your life. Counseling is about change, and change happens when you feel safe, heard, respected, supported, and appropriately challenged. My commitment to you is to listen attentively, respect you, be genuine, and to actively engage with you to create more of what you want in life. My hope is that you will fully and consistently engage in the counseling process to the best of your abilities. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have additional education and training in recovery from authoritative religions (LDS/Mormon, Evangelical), trauma, EMDR, life changes, and anxiety. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
